FAQS

Immigration Physicals

For your convenience, we’ve put together a list of some common questions and answers. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Don't hesitate to contact us by email or use our contact page.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS EXACTLY WORK IN GETTING MY IMMIGRATION PHYSICAL?

The immigration physical requires two appointments, usually completed within five days. The first appointment will be for paperwork and preparing for lab work, while the second appointment will be for the physical evaluation.

IS THE LAB WORK PERFORMED IN OFFICE?

Due to the complicated nature of the TB test, we will refer you to lab facilities outside the office, such as Lab Corp or Quest. Visiting the lab will ensure the integrity of the test so that you will receive your immigration physical without delay.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

A Driver's License or passport, vaccination/shot records, and the immigration physical form will be required for your first visit.

WHAT VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR MY IMMIGRATION PHYSICAL?

MMR, Tetanus, Flu, and Varicella will be required for all patients. If the patient is older than 65, the patient will also be required to be vaccinated against pneumonia.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DON'T HAVE ALL OF MY VACCINATIONS COMPLETED?

Vaccinations can be completed in-office and are provided at an additional cost. Please get in touch with our office for more details.

*Please note that flu vaccinations are only required from October to march, and as of 2021, Covid vaccinations have become a new requirement.

Although we offer these vaccines, patients are encouraged to check pharmacy prices as those are often offered at a better price.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
